This Saturday, July 29, School of Art alums join in nada que declarar, a group reading at the artist-run project space Aparador LA as part of Gallery Weekend Los Angeles.

Now in its third year, Gallery Weekend LA—organized by Gallery Association Los Angeles (GALA)—presents exhibitions by galleries throughout the city. On Saturday, Aparador LA closes out Mercancía de Pacotilla, the first US solo show by multidisciplinary artist Marek Wolfryd, with a reading curated by CalArts alum Fía Benitez (Art MFA 21). Participants include Benitez, Rodrigo Arruda (Art MFA 22), Erick Antonio Benitez (Art-IM MFA 23), LaRissa Rogers, Prima Jalichandra-Sakuntabhai, and Layla Fassa.

Please note that the event is limited in capacity and RSVP only (appointments can be scheduled by emailing bryan@aldochaparro.com). Guests will not be permitted entrance to the gallery while readings are in progress. Walk-ins will be welcome before 3 pm and after 5 pm.
