Actor, longtime singer-songwriter, and CalArts alum Katey Sagal (Theater 73) conceived Khorus Harmonia, a new limited-run choral concert now playing at the Hudson Theatres in Hollywood through this Saturday, May 2.
Described as “music and feels in 66 minutes,” Khorus Harmonia features Sagal, with book and staging by her husband, Kurt Sutter, and choral arrangement and direction by Steven Argila.
A Golden Globe-winning actor (for Sons of Anarchy) and singer-songwriter, Sagal has long balanced careers in both music and screen. “My first love was music,” she has said. In her 20s, she worked as a background singer while pursuing a recording career, performing with artists including Bob Dylan, Olivia Newton-John, Etta James, Tanya Tucker, and Bette Midler. She went on to release her debut solo album, Well, in 1994, followed by Room (2004) and Covered (2014).

All proceeds from Khorus Harmonia benefit the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights and the Wounded Warrior Project. Tickets are available at onstage411.com/KHORUSH.
