The creativity of the CalArts community will be on full display at 2025 CalArts Expo, an immersive artistic experience happening across campus today, Tuesday, May 13 from 2 pm to midnight.
Established in 2013 as a renegade student-run exhibition in the Institute hallways, Expo features a vast array of visual art, music and dance performances, film/video, installation art, lighting sculptures, virtual reality, and multidisciplinary work by students, as well as from alumni and internationally renowned faculty. The event has since evolved into an annual showcase, with this year’s iteration featuring work by more than 400 CalArtians. Expo 2025 is organized by a team of 15 BFA and MFA producers and curators from each of the six schools.
Free and open to the public, audiences are invited to explore works throughout 12 student-curated campus venues. As the event is free and open to the public, Expo has provided students from all artistic disciplines opportunities to connect with industry professionals.
